After downloading the app, simply complete our short two-minute questionnaire. We ask you a number of questions related to your measurements, body type, skin tone, and fit preferences. After completing the questionnaire, we’ll tailor the experience so that everything you see complements your size and body type. You are never charged a personal styling fee and shipping is always free!

Be part of a fun and open community of consumers, stylists, and boutiques that have a love and passion for everyday fashion. Follow your favorite people and boutiques to stay up to date with what is trending in their world.

Style Feed

Style Feed is your personal destination for fashion discovery. Browse curated outfit collections from boutiques, stylists, and fashionistas across the United States. Items will only appear in your Style Feed if they match your size and price preferences.
See a Stylist or Boutique that you like? Simply tap the follow button at the top of their profile to stay up-to-date on their latest collections. Engage with them by leaving comments on the items that they post.

Tap on a Boutique’s profile to view products from their inventory that match your preferences, their community rating, physical store address, and website URL. Show them love by tapping the heart icon next to the products that you like.

Discover a Stylist, Boutique or an outfit that you like but want to get a second opinion?

Ask A Friend allows you to invite friends and family into your virtual dressing room. After all, shopping with friends is much more fun!

Simply tap ‘Ask A Friend’ within the app to send an SMS message to anyone in your phone’s address book. Messages can be sent to any device even if the person you are sending it to has not downloaded the Couture Lane app.

My Orders

Orders are placed in the app and processed through our payment gateway provider Braintree, A Pay Pal company. Charges will appear on your credit card statement as Couture Lane Inc.

Once you have selected your preferred payment method at checkout, we will charge the full amount of the order plus any applicable sales tax.

Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days from the date it is received.

To check the status of an order within the app, simply navigate to: Menu > My Profile > Track Orders


Purchasing items you’ve discovered through Couture Lane is simple. For your convenience, we’ve made it super easy to check-out with ApplePay, AndroidPay, major credit and debit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover.

All payments on the Platform are processed by our payment gateway provider, Braintree, a PayPal company. Braintree collects, processes, and stores payment information per the terms of its own privacy policy, which you can view HERE.

Couture Lane does not store any payment information, including credit card numbers on its servers.

Shipping & Returns

Whether you are ordering 1 item from one boutique, or 20 items from ten boutiques, the whole order will ship for a flat $7.99 only. Orders are shipped as Priority Mail through USPS and will generally arrive within 3-5 days, excluding national holidays and weekends.

If your order does not arrive within a reasonable amount of time, please contact us at (415) 735-6462 Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm PST excluding national holidays so we can assist.

Returns and Exchanges

Returns and exchanges are always free, but the item must be mailed back to the merchant with within 14 days of when you received it. To make a return, put the item back in the same packaging that it was delivered in (required to get free shipping), attach the pre-paid return label that was included with the order, and drop it off at any USPS location. Your refund or exchange will be processed within 7 days of when the merchant receives your package.

Remember: a full refund or exchange will only be issued if: 1) the item is not flagged as final sale, 2) the item is returned during the 14-day window, 3) the item is not damaged or worn, and 4) the item is returned in the same packaging/box that it was delivered in.

This policy describes the types of information we (and not third parties) may collect from you or that you may provide when you use our website and/or mobile application (the “Platform”) and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

What personal information do we collect from Platform users?

We collect several types of information from and about users of the Platform, including information:

– By which you may be personally identified, such as name, e-mail address, physical address, and phone number if you are using the Platform as a buyer or a seller, and also credit card and billing information if you use the Platform to make a purchase;
– That you voluntarily enter, such as body measurements, clothing preferences, and descriptions, that may include personal information;
– That you post on the interactive features of the Platform, such as comments, reviews, photos, and other feedback, that may include personal information;
– That is about you but individually does not identify you, such as the city where you live; and/or
– About your internet connection, the equipment you use to access the Platform, and usage details.

All payments on the Platform are processed by Braintree, a PayPal company. Braintree collects, processes, and stores payment information per the terms of its own privacy policy, which you can view here. The Company does not store any payment information, including bank account information or credit card numbers.

When do we collect personal information?

We collect this information:

– Directly from you when you provide it to us, such as when you register on the Platform, place an order, respond to a survey or provide feedback, or otherwise enter information on our Platform; and/or
– Automatically as you navigate through the Platform. Information collected automatically may include usage details, IP addresses, web browser preferences, and information collected through cookies and other tracking technologies. Although we do not correlate tracking information to individuals, some information collected, such as IP addresses, will be unique.

You also may provide information to be published or displayed (hereinafter, “posted”) on public areas of the Platform, or transmitted to other users of the Platform or third parties (collectively, “User Contributions”). Your User Contributions are posted on and transmitted to others at your own risk.

Additionally, we cannot control the actions of other users of the Platform with whom you may choose to share your User Contributions. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that your User Contributions will not be viewed by unauthorized persons.

You may choose not to enter information into the Platform, but the services offered through the Platform will be limited because identifying information is needed to facilitate some of the main services of the Platform.

How do we use your information?

We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any personal information:

– To personalize your experience on the Platform and to allow us to deliver the type of content and product offerings in which you are most interested.
– To improve our Platform in order to better serve you.
– To allow us to better service you in responding to your customer service requests.
– To administer a contest, promotion, survey, or other Platform feature.
– To quickly process your transactions.
– To ask for ratings and reviews of services or products.
– To provide you with notices about your account and orders.
– In any other way we may describe when you provide the information or with your consent.

How do we protect your information?

We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. For example, access by a user to his or her personal information is available through a password and unique customer ID selected by the user. This information is encrypted through the Platform with Secure Socket Layer technology (SSL) and is also encrypted when it is stored by us to prevent unauthorized parties from viewing such information.

All payment transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers. Also, we perform regular malware scanning of the Platform and all servers and computers used by us to support the Platform.

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where you have chosen a password for access to certain parts of the Platform, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone and be careful about giving out information in public areas of the Platform.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to the Platform. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Platform.

Do we use “cookies”?

Yes. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the site’s or service provider’s systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information.

We use cookies to:

– Help remember and process the items in your shopping cart.
– Understand and save your preferences for future visits.
– Compile aggregate data about Platform traffic and interactions in order to offer better Platform experiences and tools in the future. We may also use trusted third-party services that track this information on our behalf.

You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent or you can choose to turn off all cookies by adjusting your browser settings. If you turn cookies off, some features will be disabled.

How does the Platform handle Do Not Track signals?

We honor Do Not Track signals and do not track, plant cookies, or use advertising when a Do Not Track (DNT) browser mechanism is in place.

Do we disclose your information to third parties?

We may disclose aggregated information about our users, and information that does not identify any individual, without restriction.

We may disclose personal information that we collect or you provide:

– To the merchant responsible for fulfilling any orders made on the Platform and the relevant shipping carrier.
– To contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our business, such as payment information to our payment gateway partner, Braintree.
– To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of the Company’s assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by the Company about the Platform users is among the assets transferred.
– To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it. For example, if you give us an email address to use the “email a friend” feature of the Platform, we will transmit the contents of that email and your email address to the recipients.
– For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information.
– With your consent.
– To third party contractors in order to analyze Platform performance and user behavior and/or to improve the Platform.
– To comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request or to report sales and other financial information to the necessary agencies.
– If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our customers, or others.

Third-party links

The Platform offers clothing and other products from third-party providers and so in using the Platform you may be able to access websites for these third parties. These third-party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.

Your California privacy rights 

California Civil Code Section § 1798.83 permits users of the Platform that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please send an email to

You can review and change your personal information by logging into the Platform and visiting your account profile page.

We cannot delete all of your personal information except by also deleting your user account. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.

Children under the age of 13

The Platform is not intended for children under 13 years of age. No one under age 13 may provide any information to or on the Platform. We do not knowingly collect information of any sort, including personal information, from children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use or provide any information on the Platform. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information immediately. Fashion Boutiques


Couture Lane is a growth platform that enables apparel retailers and fashion boutiques to distribute products to mobile customers across America.

Through the platform, a retailer’s products are mapped in real-time to a mobile consumer’s unique fit, style, and price preferences. Products are made available for discovery by consumers in the Couture Lane mobile apps.

How it Works

After connecting your POS / Shopping Cart systems with the Couture Lane merchant portal, items from your inventory are synced to your Couture Lane mobile storefront. Syncing with the merchant portal ensures real-time accuracy in available stock.

Products that matches a consumer’s unique preferences will appear in their Style Feed and Personal Boutique. Consumers are able to share items that they’ve discovered with friends and family giving your products and mobile storefront an even greater reach.

Outfit Builder

Leverage the Couture Lane Outfit Builder to create stunning outfits with your products showcasing to consumers how to pair pieces together by Style and Occasion. Couture Lane Stylists will also create outfits for your storefront.


As items sell, order notifications appear in your Dashboard. Couture Lane provides free 3 – 5 shipping for orders $25 and above. Shipping labels are attached to the invoices for quick review.


Proceeds from each sale, along with any applicable sales tax are deposited into your account within two business days from the delivery date.


Couture Lane retains a 20% service fee on items sold through the platform. No other fees are charged. This fee is used to cover the cost of maintaining a robust platform and allows us to offer boutiques free customer acquisition, shipping and packing supplies.

Getting Started

To qualify for a merchant account, you must have an established storefront or e-commerce website located in the United States that sells new fashion items, including clothing, shoes, or accessories.

You may set up a merchant account by providing a unique username and password or logging in using a supported third-party account, such as Shopify or Magento.

Once you log in, you will be required to create a public profile for your business that includes all information requested by us, such as:

– Full name of legal business entity authorized to conduct business in the United States;
– Full name(s), email address(es), and phone number(s) of the officers and directors of the entity;
– Proof of physical address located in the United States;
– Proof of a valid seller’s permit issued by a local government agency;
– Proof of a valid employer identification number issued by the IRS; and
– Any other information that we request.

Additionally, before you can begin posting items on the Platform you must connect your point of sale or online shopping cart system with our secure servers to sync your products with our database. Click here to get started.



The boutique is responsible for setting the prices for all items listed on its merchant account, including all taxes and fees required to be paid by the merchant. You are required to honor all prices set at the time that a buyer places an order of your items.


The Company uses Braintree, a division of PayPal, Inc. (“Braintree”) for payment processing. In order for you to use Braintree’s payment processing services, you must read and agree to the Commercial Entity User Agreement (CEA) available at and the Payment Services Agreement available at By accepting this Agreement, you agree: (a) that you have downloaded or printed the CEA, and (b) that you have reviewed and agree to the CEA.

Additionally, Braintree requires us to submit information about each merchant to it, and you agree that you will provide all requested information to us and give us permission to share such information with Braintree.


The buyer will pay for the item cost and sales tax upon placing an order on the Platform. Upon receiving confirmation that the order has been delivered to the buyer, Couture Lane will release payment for each item sold by a merchant to the merchant’s account, in an amount equal to the pre-tax item price minus a 20% commission paid to Couture Lane.

Listing Items

Your POS or Shopping Cart system must be synced with Platform. All items posted on the Platform by a boutique must be approved by our team prior to posting. To protect the integrity of the platform, we reserve the right to reject any item for posting on the Platform for any reason, at our sole discretion. We may require a minimum stock quantity for any items posted on the Platform, which we will set at our discretion and may change at any time.

We reserve the right to cancel your merchant account immediately and without notice if you do not comply with any of the Company’s Terms of Use, including, but not limited to, a failure to ship items on time, not fulfilling orders placed by consumers on the Platform, or failing to give us the information we need to provide to Braintree about your company or your services. Additionally, we may remove any item that you have posted on the Platform at any time and without notice, at our sole discretion.


Order Fulfilment

When a user orders an item posted by you on the Platform, you will receive an email and notification in your account of the order, plus a link to a pre-paid shipping label, packing slip, and pre-paid return shipping label. You are required to prepare and ship all orders within 1 business day of the order date. All orders must be shipped in the shipping materials provided by us, and must include the packing slip and pre-paid return shipping label.

If you cannot fulfill the order on time, you must contact us immediately.


Customers have 14 days from their receipt of items purchased on the Platform to return any items to the merchant for a full refund or request an exchange for a different size.

Refunds, and Exchanges

A full refund or exchange should only be issued if 1) the item is returned during the 14-day window, 2) the item is not damaged or worn, and 3) the item is returned in the same packaging/box that it was delivered in.

If you receive a returned or exchanged an item that does not meet these criteria, or if you cannot perform the exchange due to a lack of inventory, please contact Couture Lane immediately so we can contact the customer.

Upon processing a valid returned item, the merchant must remit all amounts paid to it by the Company for the item within 5 business days.
